Methodology
Transparency about how signals become pages — and when they should not.
Trend scoring
Internal TrendScore blends velocity, acceleration, search proxies, geography, source coverage, persistence, and commercial intent. Factors are normalised 0–100.
Publish gates
A page becomes indexable only when it has distinct intent, enough unique value, source attribution, and meaningful internal links. Placeholder inventory stays noindex.
Tools
Calculators run from explicit formulas in the browser. Finance and health tools include disclaimers and are not advice. Shareable scenario links let readers revisit the same inputs later.
Freshness
Rankings, markets, and trend cards show as-of timestamps. We refresh copy when the underlying story changes — not only to bump a date. Readers should always know how recent a figure is.
Internal linking
Pages are wired into loops: trends → explainers → tools → guides. Outcome-led labels (“Estimate your payment”) help people finish a task without bouncing to a thin doorway page. See what internal linking is.
Backlinks
Backlinks are links from other websites to ours. They can help discovery and trust when they are relevant and earned — for example someone citing a calculator, dataset, or explainer. We do not buy spammy link packages. We publish pages worth citing and keep outbound monetised links behind clear /go/ redirects with disclosure. Read what backlinks are.
